TWO CHINESE GOLD SILK EMBROIDERED PANEL, Qing Dynasty. Worked in gold thread and satin stitch to depict a Qilin and precious objects, the other in satin stitch to depict children at play under pine tree. - 38 1/4 in. x 22 in. & 53 in. x 37 1/2 in.

PROVENANCE: Property of the collection of Miriam Fisher Reno, acquired in Peking from the government warehouse in 1972, three months after President Nixon's trip to China.
