Rectangular case in one part having unmonogramed brass plate to top; two paneled doors opening to six purple felt lined and fitted drawers with recessed brass handles, each drawer having celluloid labels for various flatware pieces; over one drawer, raised on tapering legs.
Along with 94 pieces silverplate service in the Lily pattern; consisting of thirty dinner forks, 8 5/8"; twelve lunch forks, 7 1/2"; eleven large spoons, 7 7/8"; sixteen soup spoons, 7 7/8"; eight serving spoons, 8 13/16"; seven demitasse spoons, 5"; four assorted large serving pieces measuring 13 1/8" - 13 3/8"; one fish serving fork, 9 7/8"; three small ladles, 7 3/8"; one large ladle 13 1/16"; a pair of grape shears, 7 1/16"; one handled tea strainer, 6 3/8"; one butter spreader, 6 1/2"; one sugar tong, 5 1/4"; one cheese scoop, 7 13/16". All are monogramed with 'AFK'. - Case measures 42 15/16" high x 22 7/8" wide x 18 1/2" deep. Estimate $600-800
Case in very good condition, structurally sound. Felt to interior is clean. Flatware having a few issues: one of the dinner forks has bent tines, one of the lunch forks has a slightly bent tine, five of the demitasse spoons are damaged.
