TWO 19TH CENTURY HENRY ABBOTT AQUATINTS OF THE TEMPLE OF PALLAS & THE TEMPLE OF ANTONINUS AND FAUSTINA. Published London, Baldwin, Cradock & Joy, November 1, 1820. Two matted, of the period aquatints from the volume Henry Abbotts' Antiquities of Rome. The first depicting the Temple of Pallas (#46588.1), the second the Temple of Antoninus & Faustina (#46586.1). Both measuring 16 1/2" high x 22 3/8" wide.

'The original volume was comprised of twenty-four select views of Romes' principal ruins, illustrated by a panoramic outline of the modern city, taken from the Capitol. From drawings by Henry Abbott, produced in London, 1820.'
