GEORGE III INLAID MAHOGANY BEAU BRUMMEL DRESSING TABLE IN THE HEPPLEWHITE TASTE, Circa 1780. Rectangular top having two hinged panels with paterae, ebony and fruitwood string inlay; opening to numerous string inlaid compartments with covers having turned ivory pulls, and a mirror; over two drawers (one being faux), raised on tapering legs. - 31 5/8" high x 29 5/8" wide x 18 5/8" deep.

Provenance: Antiques of Georgetown, Washington, DC.

Locks are replaced, several areas of repairs to veneer, no key is present. Mirror is old. Temporary repair to one of the pulls to interior compartment.
