AMERICAN STENCILED BLACK PAINTED CANE FURNITURE, CONSISTING OF A BENCH & SIX CHAIRS, POSSIBLY BALTIMORE, Circa 1820's. Consisting of a bench with cane seat, stenciled crest rail and slats, measuring 33 1/8" high x 74 5/8" long x 23 3/8" deep. Six chairs with stenciled crest rail, measuring 31 7/8" high x 17 3/8" wide x 19" deep. All having cane seats. All having upholstered cushions. Each piece is hand numbered with museum collection # in white paint.
Estimate $1,200-1,800

Paint in good condition. Chairs structurally sound. Cane seats are intact.
