ARCHIVAL PRINT COPY OF THE GREELEY LETTER; ABRAHAM LINCOLN'S LETTER TO HORACE GREELEY, AUGUST 22, 1862. Archival print copy of Lincoln famous 3-page letter to the editor of the New York Tribune in which Lincoln states "I would save the Union . . . the shortest way under the Constitution." This copy is printed on acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper and enclosed in a brown 8"-wide x 12" deep hard-cover book-quality binding. Includes transcript of letter. The original letter is located in the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, CT.
