MAP OF EGER, CITY OF CHEB IN MODERN-DAY CZECH REPUBLIC. (18th century). "Plan de la D'Egra et du Siege of cette place/avril 1742", Framed, black-and-white print of a "Plan de la Ville d'Egra" (Plan of the City of Eger). It also mentions "et du Siège de cette Place, en Avril 1742" (and the Siege of this Place, in April 1742). Eger is the German name for the city of Cheb in the modern-day Czech Republic. The map depicts the city's fortifications and a siege that took place in April 1742. This would have been during the War of the Austrian Succession (1740-1748). Framed. Not examined out of frame. - Sight size as framed with french matte, 8 3/4" x 11".
