NINE FRAMED DAVID ROBERTS PRINTS DEPICTING THE HOLY LAND. 19th century. Nine framed, quarto size volume, prints depicting scenes from the Middle East, particularly Egypt and the Holy Land. The subjects include temples, columns, and ruins, such as what appears to be part of the Temple of Philae and the ruins of the fortress of Al-Karak; views of the Sinai Peninsula, showing the mountains and the plains around St. Catherine's Monastery; and/or images of the Nile River with traditional sailing boats (feluccas). Individually framed. Not examined out of frame. - Frame: 12 1/2 x 10 inches. Small art pieces: 5 x 7 inches.
