GEORGE III SILVER COFFEE POT, Edward Fernell, London, 1781. Classical vase form with bead trim, each side with chased medallion swag, circular foot with bead trim atop square base, hinged dome cover with urn-form finial, spout with scrolls at mouth, carved wood handle - 31 oz., 2 dwt., total weight; 13 in. high.
Estimate $800-1,200

Marks crisp and legible. Lid with good fit, wood handle with small chips to finial, no splits or repairs to silver. No evidence of erasure to cartouche. In overall very good condition.
