JAPANESE LONG SWORD (KATANA), 20th century. Fully mounted, suke (handle re-wrapped incorrectly). Blade: 20th century, heavy, no real temper visible, no openings; tang (nakago): Ubu, mu-mei, three mekugi-ana - 27 15/16 in., 71 cm.
Estimate $550-750

20th Century blade/ no nicks, chips or rust on openings. Blade was probably buffed with cloth wheel & buffing compound. Probably no temper (none visible).
