JAPANESE SHORT SWORD (WAKIZASHI), Shinto sword period (17th century). Blade: temper hotsure (brushed effect suguha) only barely visible in some spots, one small opening above temper. Nakago (tang): Ubu (uncut) but Machi Moved, mu-mei (not signed). Koshirae: gunto saya, matching but damaged fuchi kashira - 17 7/8 in., 45 2/5 cm.

Some buffing Hada & temper not discernable. Blade openings.
