This lamp is one of three known identical examples made by John Dikeman. It characterizes the transition to the Art Deco style with its geometric shape and stepped feet. The lamp is more likely an early example of his work in that it lacks the sophistication of later models and experience.
PROVENANCE: Descended through the Dikeman family.
Shade has three heat cracks on two sides, the base has a single heat crack. Otherwise the lamp is in good condition. It is unsigned.
