GROUP OF THREE FRAMED OF THE PERIOD SPORTING ENGRAVINGS CONSISTING OF MCQUEENS STEEPLECHASE & ACKERMAN, Late 19th Century. Lot consisting of two framed, of the period, handcolored engravings, published by J.M. McQueen, London, 1871, entitled 'Impending Danger' and 'A Match'. Both with good handcoloring. framed in identical black painted modern frames with paper mats. Both measure 28 1/2" high x 25" wide framed. The third of the period engraving of a foxhunter, published Rudolph Ackerman, London, 1861, entitled 'A Perfect Pink' from the One of the Flowers of our Hunt series, after Henry Alken. Good color. Measuring 21 3/4" high x 23 11/16" wide. (3 total).
Estimate $250-350

Good original color to all. Minor wear to frames associated with age and use. While not examined out of frame, the prints appear to be in very good condition. No discoloration, tears, etc.
