J. MARTI FRENCH BRASS RENAISSANCE REVIVAL-STYLE MANTLE CLOCK WITH EAGLE FINIAL.Late 19th/Early 20th Century. Clock works marked D.C. Co. Medaille d'Or Paris, J. Marti. Rectangular case having pediment surmounted by an eagle with extended wings. Foliate cast case having a hinged round panel with beveled glass opening to enamel dial. Reticulated base having female mask medallion; raised on bracket feet. Base marked to underside 395 and 1876. The back of the works casing is stamped, D.C. Co within an oval above the main stamping which is marked, Medaille d'Or Paris and enscribed "J.Marti" in script font. - Approx. 18 3/4" high x 8 3/4" square. Estimate $300-400
Pendulum and key are present. Clock appears to be in working order when tested.
