TANZANIAN SUMBAWANGA DANCER MASK, Late 20th century. Patinated and used mask for harvest dances in Western Tanzania or the Sumbawanga Urban District. Mixed media (raffia, cloth, cowries) mask. Consignor acquired it while working in Tanzania and bought mask directly from the dancer.
