Consisting of seven, of the period, handcolored etchings from the early 19th Century. Framed in various types of molding. The largest frames are 19th/20th Century burlwood, with plates, Driving Elephants into a Keddah, dated 1803; the second entitled Hog Hunters meeting by Surprise a Tigress & her Cubs, sight dimensions 15 5/16" high x 19 1/4" wide. A second pair, framed in giltwood, entitled A Hog at Bay, and A Tiger killed by a Poison Arrow, sight size 14 15/16" high x 18 15/16" wide. A third trimmed pair framed in black/gold painted frames, entitled The Dead Tiger and Shooting a Leopard, sight 12 13/16" high x 17 11/16" wide. Lastly, a single print framed in wood/gilt moulding, entitled Driving a Tiger ouf of the Jungle, with sight dimensions 15" high x 18 15/16" wide. The framing is not consistent throughout on this lot.
