FINE LATE 17TH CENTURY ENGLISH WILLIAM & MARY BURL WALNUT CHEST OF DRAWERS.Late 17th Century. Feather banded rectangular top over two short drawers over three long drawers. Burlwood veneer to drawer fronts. Old brass pulls, and old locks to all drawers. Raised on bun feet. The chest has been well maintained and has a nice patina. - 35 1/2" high x 39 1/8" wide x 22 3/4" deep. Estimate $2,000-2,500
Old paper lining to all drawers. Old splits to drawer bottoms. Old repaired split to the top. Small area of loss to the top, at the right front corner. Wide paneled horizontal boards to back of case. The feet were replaced in the past. This piece has very nice patina. No loss to veneer.
