It is an "Épreuve d'Artist"(or artist's proof) work depicting two women lying on their stomachs or sides, their bodies close together, creating a sense of intimacy and languor. They appear to be resting or sleeping, with their heads turned away from the viewer. The focus is entirely on the curvaceous forms of the human body. Unframed.
