Limited edition lithograph numbered 5 of an edition of 12. Pencil titled, numbered and signed by the artist. Second artwork is an engraving of an old man on a park bench and it is signed by HICKS. Both are framed under glass. Neither one was inspected outside of frame.

ARTIST PROFILE: Daphne French Dunbar (born 1883) was a versatile artist and educator born in Port Colborne, Canada, who became a prominent figure in the Boston, Massachusetts art community. Known for her work in lithography, woodblock prints, and painting, her style was characterized by a colorful, decorative aesthetic often infused with a surrealistic sense of humor. Having studied under masters like Kenneth Hayes Miller and Charles Hawthorne, she exhibited extensively at prestigious venues such as the Society of Independent Artists and the Institute of Modern Art in Boston. A patron of Maurice Prendergast and a member of the Who's Who of American Art, Dunbar’s work is held in major institutions including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Detroit Institute of Art, and the Library of Congress.
