THREE ASSORTED NATIVE-AMERICAN SOUTHWESTERN GEOMETRIC WOOL WEAVINGS. Three vintage Southwestern Weavings which are characterized by the hand-woven wool, bold geometric patterns, and rich color palettes. They figure interconnected diamond / serrated diamond motifs using natural or undyed wool colors (white, brown, various shades of gray/tan) which is reminiscent of Two Grey Hills or Chinle styles of Navajo weaving. They have banded edges in green, red, and black geometric designs which are woven into bands along the sides and/or ends. This use of a large, solid field with intricate banding is a feature of Classic Period Navajo blankets/serapes or weavings meant to be worn (like a poncho or shawl). - Largest one: 43 x 57 inches.
