Idylle, 1907, Red chalk lithograph made as an illustration for the novel "Les Gueules Noires" (The Miners, literally The Black Mouths or Black Faces) by Emile Morel. "Les Gueules Noires" was written by Emile Morel and Paul Auguste Marie Adam, illustrated by Théophile Alexandre Steinlen, and published by E. Sansot & Cie. Plate signed lower left hand corner. Framed. Not examined out of frame.
