Limited edition sepia-toned, mixed-media composition numbered 6 of an edition of 50. Pencil signed, numbered and titled at base. It is a layered photographic collage that explores the nature of African wildlife. In the foreground, a pride of four lionesses is captured and dominating the upper portion is the profile of a male lion’s head. Framed. Not examined out of frame.

ARTIST PROFILE: Born in 1935 in New York City, Elizabeth B. Henry is an accomplished photographer whose work frequently highlights the natural beauty of Africa and Antarctica. Since 1981, she has exhibited in galleries nationwide, including solo shows in her hometown and at the Museum of the Southwest in Midland, Texas. Henry is particularly noted for her commitment to wildlife conservation; her photograph "Big Bad Bull" was featured at a 2001 Sotheby's charity event to benefit the Save the Elephant Tusk Trust, and she has held several benefit exhibitions for the "Flying Doctors of East Africa". A member of the Society of Animal Artists and the Pen and Brush Club, she has published several photobooks, including Visions of Africa and The Land of the Williwaw, reflecting her extensive travels and dedication to fine art nature photography.
