ARTIST PROFILE: Suzanne Lemieux Wilson is a highly accomplished artist who developed an early and enduring passion for the medium of pastels, later studying fine arts in both Boston and London. Her distinguished career includes winning multiple prestigious accolades from the Pastel Society of America, such as the Arciello Award and honors for Best Floral and Best Landscape, and her work is held in the collections of Fairfield University and the City University of New York. Wilson’s global exhibition history spans esteemed venues like the Salmagundi Club in New York and the Heatherley Gallery in London, earning her a listing in Who’s Who in American Art. Beyond traditional galleries, she spent a decade as a concept artist for major studios including Walt Disney, Fox Animation, and Sullivan Bluth—a transition sparked by an invitation from director Don Bluth—which eventually led to a nomination to the Academy of Motion Pictures.
