A CHINESE NEOLITHIC POTTERY VESSEL, Machang phase, Majiayao culture (circa 2300-2000 B.C.). Gansu-Qinghai province, the shoulders boldly painted in dark brown and cream with circular reserves and linear bands - 11 1/4 in. high (cover included).
