TWO AMERICAN VICTORIAN CHAIRS, late 19th century. A gentleman's armchair, and a lady's chair, similar but not matching. Each with a molded arched frame enclosing a coved padded back, bow front padded seat, on molded shaped legs - Armchair: 39 1/2 in. x 25 1/2 in. x 24 in.; other: 38 in. x 24 in. x 23 in.

PROVENANCE: Acquired by Judge Walter Knapp, New York, circa 1900.
