AN ENGLISH MINIATURE PORTRAIT, circa 1830. A gentleman in a black coat with yellow waistcoat, identified on reverse as"Sir John Bisset, Commisary General, was at the battle of Hohenlinden". Watercolor on ivory (cracked) in a gilt metal frame, set into a velvet lined leather shadowbox - 4 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in., the portrait.
