A COTTON AND LINEN NEEDLEWORK ALPHABET SAMPLER. circa 1830. Worked in monochrome thread with rows of the alphabet in upper, lower case and cursive letters (some letters embroidered twice), with numerals, with a verse (partially legible) - 8 1/2 in. x 21 1/2 in., sight seen.
