A PAIR OF GERMAN SILVER ART NOUVEAU FIGURAL COMPOTES, marked Friedlander, circa 1900. Each with a fully modelled figure of a nereid, one holding a spear and fish, the other a poppy blossom, each standing before a poppy stem with leaves and blossoms and supporting a circular dish with wave molded edge, all on a circular base molded with anemone, holly and yarrow - 18 in. high x 13 1/2 in. diam.
