The rectangular top with stringing inlay, above similar inlaid slant top opening to center locking door flanked by sliding secret compartments; corniced pidgeon holes and concave drawer fronts, all with burled walnut veneering. Gilt tooled burgundy leather writing surface. Lower case has lopers flanking an upper drawer and three long graduated drawers on bracket feet.
