PAIR CHINESE HUANGHUALI ARMCHAIRS, late Ming dynasty, late 16th/early 17th century. Rectangular back with pierced splat having fu dog decoration, shaped apron with carved mythical beast decoration. - 31 3/4 in. x 26 1/4 in. x 18 3/4 in.
Estimate $2,500-4,500

Restoration to handrest (on one), cut down all four legs on each, replaced seat on each, separation to carved apron due to shrinkage, small loss to front apron on one.
