COLLECTION 1930S ENGLISH THEATRE (STAGE) AUTOGRAPHS, HANDWRITTEN LETTERS, ORIGINAL PHOTOS AND OTHER EPHEMERA. Includes rare 1937 theatre playbill titled The Theatrical Garden, a charity event organized for The Actor's Orphanage (an important relief effort in 1930s England) with back page having original in-person autographs of some of actors who staged event: John Gielgud, Conrad Veidt, Victoria Hopper and others; photos signed by John Gielgud (1935), Edith Evans (1930s), Shirley Mason (facsimile autograph on photo for Fox Films) and George O'Brien (facsimile autograph on photo for Fox Films); scrapbook of rare 1930's London theatre clippings for stage performances by Vivien Leigh (pre-"Gone With The Wind"), Leslie French (ballet), Ann Harding, John Gielgud (one signed in fountain pen), Edith Evans, Peggy Ashcroft, others; correspondence from John Gielgud (on his stationery), Edith Evans (on her stationery) and another actress of that era, all with original date-stamped envelopes.
