EARLY 1960S KENNEDY FAMILY-RELATED LETTER AND TYPED DOCUMENTATION. Autograph note signed, from Mae S. Lawford (mother of actor Peter Lawford, mother-in-law of Patricia Kennedy Lawford), to her friend David Alvey Reed, April 1964: "David dear/The enclosed will give you some idea of what I put up with during last election! (& it's still going on). Peter knows about it [?] showed it all to him - & the F.B.I. has a copy of it all/Fantastic! but true--..." Note accompanied by Jan. 3, 1964, documentation prepared by Mrs. Lawford for her attorney detailing alleged episodes of abuse, harassment and cruelty perpetrated by members of the Kennedy clan and "The Rat Pack", before, during, and after the campaign/election period of JFK, while Mrs. Lawford was allegedly forced to live in penury, and ostacized by her Kennedy in-laws. Seven-paged typed document with numerous hand-inked additions
