The sideboard is in good overall condition. Examination found replaced boards on the back and underside. Further, the bellflower inlay is a later embellishment. There are intermittent losses of veneer. Secondary woods include pine and poplar. Presently the piece does not have a key. We believe the finish has been carefully restored.
