GEORGE III MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID IVORY AND TORTOISE SHELL TEA CADDY. circa 1790. Decagonal form, mother-of-pearl swag surrounding escutcheon, silver monogramed shield inlay, interior divided into two lidded and foil-lined compartments - 6 in. x 4 3/4 in. x 3 1/2 in.
Estimate $800-1,200

Ivory cracked and loose at seams, losses to mother-of-pearl, loss to corner of one ivory panel on the back, interior compartment lids do not stay in place, losses to interior lining.
