VICTORIAN MAHOGANY HUTCH,19th century, in two parts. Upper case has arching molded-edge crest above three shaped shelves with bracketed sides; the lower case has long drawer, panel doors, and bracket feet - 82 in. x 43 in. x 120 in. Estimate $500-700
The upper and lower sections were joined at a later date. Visually, the two sections blend nicely with little color and/or style variation. The overall condition remains very good. Examination found missing locks and escutcheons, which is typical for objects dating to this period. The lower section is missing a section of applied molding (proper right side) and has an age crack (proper left side). The interior is partially painted sky blue.
