CLASSICAL GRECIAN SOFA,19th century, mahogany. Asymetrical crest rail with bookmatched veneer; conforming upholsterd back and seat; outscrolled padded arms and exposed stiles; similarly veneered frieze with beaded molding on scrolled feet - 35 1/2 in. x 80 in. x 25 in. Estimate $500-700
The sofa is sturdy being both well built and solidly constructed; the veneered surface has minor losses common to seating furniture of this period (back and edge of crest, seat rails, and scrolled foot); the upholstery is in "as-is" condition.
