PLATINUM-ON-YELLOW GOLD, DIAMOND AND SAPPHIRE DOME RING, Late 19th-early 20th century, Round multi-facet roe cut diamond centered by 33 smaller rose-cut diamonds and two crescents of calibré-cut sapphire accents.

The diamond measures approximately 7.2mm in diameter. The back of the mounting is closed preventing a depth measurement. The literal definition of a rose cut is a historic cut characterized by a flat base, a circular girdle outline, a pointed domed shaped crown and a varying number of triangular shaped facets.
