JAPANESE SHORT SWORD (WAKIZASHI), Shinto sword period (17th century). Blade: some choji madare (irregular choji patterns) temper barely visible in some spots, some muneshinae (cross-ways cracks on mune) & many muneshinae on blade. Nakago (tang): Ubu (uncut), mu-mei (not signed), but cleaned - 18 15/16 in., 46 1/2 cm.

Some buffing Hada & temper not discernable. Blade cracks.
