EGYPTIAN STEATITE FIGURE OF OSIRIS, Late Period (600-332 B.C.). Depicted mummiform with hands emerging from tightly-fitted garment, wearing detailed atef-crown and false beard, hands holding the crook and flail. - 5 1/4 inches high.

PROVENANCE: Ex. P.A. collection, purchased in Cairo in the early 1970's, thence by descent.


Tip of feet and tip of crown gone. Mounted.
