Thank you for your questions. First, the top is veneered and appears in stylistic keeping with the drawered facade. Second, as for condition, the piece appears in very good overall condition: scattered age cracks, surface professionally refinished, old worm, base adapted with later bun feet, slight separation of applied molded edge on upper right front corner, and proper left side and top with minor veneer losses.
