Louise B. Jennings was a well-known Baltimore painter who studied under William Merritt Chase and Everett Lloyd Bryant. Jennings was a member of the Baltimore Society of Independent Artists, the Baltimore Watercolor Club and the Laguna Beach (California) Art Club. She and her husband, the noted zoologist Herbert Spencer Jennings, often traveled together to California where Mrs. Jennings often painted.
