In two parts: Upper section has projecting cornice above keystone tympanum, centered by quarter-paterae inlaid spandrels; two arching glazed doors and interior butterfly shelves, flanked by fluted pilasters; lower section has three aligned drawers over paterae-inlaid doors on step-molded plinth base - 91 1/2 in. x 65 in. x 31 1/2 in. The Western Maryland Cupboard survives in excellent condition. Restoration to paterae inlaid decoration; minor losses of molding; replacement of hardware over the years; glass to either door is intact though two panes with clean breaks.
The upper case measures 59 in. H. x 63 3/4 in. L. x 29 1/2 in. W., while the lower measures 33 in. H. x 63 in. x 25 1/4 in.
