THREE ITEMS SIGNED BY U.S. PRESIDENTS. First, printed award citation to Jack Frye, awarded the Medal For Merit, Dec. 18, 1946, signed by Pres. Harry S. Truman and Sec. of State James F. Byrnes. 9x12 in. Folio, attached with paper tape at verso edges to back of mat, very good condition; the second, a Citation To Accompany The Award Of The Medal Of Merit To Jack Frye. 8.5 x 7.25 in. Signed by Pres. Truman, Dec. 18, 1946. Mounted on board, some damage at upper edge partly into printed letters; the third, Frye Airline Performance Trophy for 1953 to Pan American World Airways. Printed citation, August 18, 1954, signed by VP Richard Nixon and Chairman of the Committee, Major Alexander P. de Seversky (pioneer aviator). Short tear at top, sides and bottom trimmed including tiny part of his signature. With 8x10 b& w photograph of VP Nixon awarding the trophy (unsigned) and a retained unsigned 8x10 sheet dated Jan. 28, 1954, from the Trophy Committee inviting Nixon to present the award.
