Paper slightly darkened behind mat, 3 in. tear at upper right corner patched, reinforced with paper tape and overpainted, pinhole at upper left corner and 1 in. tear at lower right edge reinforced with paper tape, earlier linen-tape hinges affixed to top right and top left edge.
