FRENCH SILVER-MOUNTED GLASS DECANTER WITH UNDERPLATE AND CONTINENTAL FIGURAL SALT. Decanter and undertray with etched glass scrolls, mid-19th century; figural salt modelled as a Dutch boy with baskets - 9 oz., 6 dwt.; 5 in. high, salt. Estimate $300-400
The silver on the decanter and underplate is silver with appropriate French hallmarks. It is not silver plated. The plate is in excellent condition - the glass is not shipped, the silver does not have splits. The same is true for the decanter, the stopper is a replacement.
The figural salt is in overall good condition. Missing silver rope for one pail.
