FRENCH EMPIRE MARBLE-TOP MAHOGANY CONSOLE, early 19th century, with gilt-metal mounts. Rectangular grey marble slab over figured veneer frieze; columnar supports; on concave shaped-plinth base - 31 in. x 48 1/4 in. x 19 in.

Good condition, with scattered small veneer losses to plinth base; and two 5 in. sections lost to upper back pilasters ( in frieze area)
