Brown buckram covers with corners bumped and frayed, spine edges frayed, 1 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. loss at top of spine; fly-leaf hinge torn at top; fold-out view of Portland harbor with some foxing and bleeding from previously inserted document (stock certificate?); moisture mark to lower right corner of first 75 pages. Also contains: fold out maps of Ancient Falmouth (loose from binding), and Falmouth Neck, as When it was Destroyed in 1775, both with slight tears and discoloration at fold creases; lithograph of Middle Street, 1844 (loose from binding) and two of Middle Street, 1863, as well as Facsimiles of Signature and Seals.

This is the second edition, 1865, issued in one volume.
