PROVENANCE: Private collection, Bowdoinham, ME
Upper left few figures with chipped noses; losses of lower part of tunic on the two lower left figures. The Buddha's hand is chipped; a piece missing to the border of the frieze at upper right. Above the Buddha, the second leaf on the left has been eroded. The general composition looks very nice. The torso and neck of the last figure upper right eroded; all feet missing of the lower figures. General good condition as all the faces, except for the chips, have beautiful expression, and are still there!
