CONGOLESE CARVED AND PAINTED WOOD MASK,early to mid 20th century, possibly of the Bakuba Congo region. The smooth Western style hairdo is painted with a yellow diamond over yellow eyebrows and rounded eyes which is flanked by carved ears.
