The blades on all the knives are original Tiffany blades. There are no loose bolsters or splits on the blades. The blades on the dinner and luncheon knives have wear on the ends from usage (more on the luncheon knives). Most of the blades have faint scratches from usage. The handles have minor wear along the edges from use (more on the fish and fruit knives). The blades on the fruit knives are serrated and sharp.
The various styles of forks are in overall excellent condition. There are no bent tines overall but a couple of the fruit forks do have a slightly bent tine.
The gilt teaspoons have minor wear along the edges of the bowls from usage. One teaspoon does have a bent bowl.
The service is in overall excellent condition. There are faint surface scratches from usage and a combination of monograms (CCC and MCL). No monograms have been rubbed or re-monogramed. None of the pieces have splits, dents or repairs.
